OOH THis sounds like fun! We will definitely be participating. Quick question...I am thinking about a style that includes corn rows into a bun....very protective and hides the ends. But I would not be able to moisturize daily. Would that make me exempt from participating?
Do you happen to have a spray moisturizer/oil? If not, you could always rub some coconut oil between your hands and run them through the cornbraids and on the bun.
For 2a/2b hair? I would end up with a gross, greasy mess if I were to try and moisturize daily, lol. I want to participate because her ends are getting cut at the end of this week, and they are SO sensitive and prone to breakage, we need protective hairstyles for awhile anyway. But hair this fine and thin and straight just doesnt do well with too much moisture. If I cant meet the terms of the challenge, thats ok...I will participate with my other 2. I was just hoping maybe you could bend the rules for those of us with hair that doesnt do so well with lots of moisturizing. :)
Hi Mrs. Kandy! I nominated you for a blog award! Thank you for inspiring me! Details on my blog:http://natural-hair-care-info.blogspot.com/2012/01/kreativ-blogger-award.html
Hey Elizabeth, I just incorporated your suggestion in the challenge. I want everyone to participate! Sorry for not thinking about those who cant have too much moisture. I hope to see you in the facebook group.
Hey, what are yarn braids?
Instead of using synthetic hair for braids. Some people use "real" yarn in the hair instead.
Sounds fun! I would love to try this challenge but I have a 20 month daughter who rolls on the floor and manages to put food in her hair like nobody's business, lol. I can never go more than a week and a half. I may fall off but its definitely worth a try.

What do you mean by no dry brushing?
Only brush/comb the hair while its damp, or wet. Not while its dry.
Can we use bows with the metal clips?
Yes, but of course be gentle while removing it :)
So does the *same* style have to stay in the head the entire time? My daughter's hair lock super easy....3b/3c/4a...
I'm looking forward to this!
