Product Review: Made From Earth Products (Part:1)

I was given the opportunity to review several products from Made From Earth. Not only do they have 100% organic products for hair, they also have products for skin. I have to admit, I'm one of those people who will read the ingredients on every hair care bottle, but when it comes to skin and foods. Well, sadly I don't even glance at the ingredients. I decided to not only review their hair product, but also their skin care line.

Lavender Calm Soap

Our Lavender Calm Soap contains relaxing essential oils and plant materials designed to soothe your skin and calm your senses. Lavender’s natural properties soften and cleanse, while providing aromatic wonders to lift you to a peaceful place. The calming properties of the lavender flower are recommended and gentle even for the most sensitive skin types. A must have for those seeking harmony and tranquility in the shower.
Ingredients: Saponified oils of Coconut, Lavender Essential Oil, Lavandin Essential Oil, Alkanet Root, Comfrey Root, and Rosemary Extract.

Blood Orange Soap

The moisture-rich Blood Orange Soap is designed to invigorate the skin with vibrant citrus groves aromas and light moisturizers to repair and leave skin soft. The Blood Orange Bar Soap contains an zesty scent with a hint of blood orange spice leaving the body clean and refreshed. Excellent for use while showering in the morning.

Ingredients: Saponified oils of Coconut, Blood Orange Essential Oil, Bergamot, Orange Essential Oil, Tangerine Essential Oil, Madder Root, and Rosemary Extract

Lemongrass Tea Soap

Contains essential fatty acids and antioxidants to prevent skin damage and cleanse your skin. This lemongrass soap is a citrus blast with an herbal tea undertone. The aroma is designed to sedating the nervous system for soothing headaches and aiding relaxation.

Ingredients: Saponified oils of safflower, sunflower, palm, and coconut (with retained glycerin), essential oils, rosemary leaf, annatto seed, rosemary extract.

Review: Fall is here and winter will soon follow, N's skin has changed over the past 2 years. She had regular, to kind of oily skin and was never ashy. But last winter, I noticed her knees and elbows were becoming dry. She started to apply cocoa butter to her skin after her bath. Then in the morning I would add some baby oil to those areas, to help her skin to not look dull & dry. This worked okay :/ So I knew we needed to step our skin care game up for this winter. She bathes with these soaps, and then I add some olive oil to her bath. This works sooo much better, than the cheap cocoa butter she normally used. Since these soaps contain oil, there was no need for me to add anything the next day.

Now, when it comes to shampoos and soaps, there is 1 thing I cannot stand!! and that is a product with no lather. Well ladies & gents, these have a really nice thick lather! Which is an A+ in my book, and they also have a "true" scent. Some products that contain lavender, lemon, or orange, either have a faint smell, or is too overpowering. All of these scents were great. My favorite soap would be the Lavender Calm Soap, the scent was perfect. I bathe my Son with this, and we all know what that scent does to the little ones. Yes, he was knocked out shortly after his bath. Normally organic stuff is a tad pricey, but these prices are great, ranging from only $4.99-$6.50. Now that's a deal!

Product Review: Beautiful Curls Leave In Conditioner

Creamy leave-in conditioner formulated with Certified Fair Trade shea butter and virgin coconut oil hydrates hair and improves softness and elasticity. Herbal extracts of comfrey and arnica help improve hair strength, soften coarse or extra curly hair and promote hair growth. Natural minerals and vitamins smooth the cuticle, remove tangles, improve shine and reduce frizz.

Ingredients: Arnica montana and comfrey (symphytum officinale) extracts (aqueous), Certified Fair Trade shea butter (butyrospermum parkii), virgin coconut oil (cocos nucifera), emulsifying wax, guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride, panthenol, coconut oil (and) raspberry fruit extract (and) ylang ylang flower extract, potassium sorbate, magnesium sulfate, choline chloride, citric acid.

Review: I have to start by saying you HAVE to use this on wet hair, otherwise it's a hot mess! Yup, I used it like that my first time lol. But the next time I used it was on N's wet hair. I let it sit for awhile, then began finger detangling. Let me tell you, this did product did not help at ALL! It provided zero slip. After attempting to finger detangle one section, I quickly washed this stuff out, and applied Organix coconut milk conditioner to detangle. N's hair does not like this product. Now, I'm not wasteful, so I used it on my son next. I must say it did alot better in his hair. I did notice a improvement with detangling his hair. Now on the downside, when it dried his hair became frizzy and dry :/ Overall, this product is not something I would recommend for 3c/4a tight curlies. But of course no two curls are alike, and for the price and it being all natural, it may be worth the try. But I will not repurchase.

Product Review+Giveaway: Lilla Rose Flexi-Clip Hair Accessory

I was given the cool opportunity to review the gorgeous Lilla Rose Flexi Hair Clip, thanks to Renee.

Isn't it Purdy!! lol This is the Open Heart Dangle in Large. The Flexi Clips come in a variety of sizes from small to large. I used the size instructional video to help me determine which size to use.

When I opened the package and showed N, she became super excited and wanted to wear it ASAP. But unfortunately we didn't have a fancy place to wear this (sigh) But we will gladly rock it to Walmart ahahaha. But seriously this clip is very well put together, with a beautiful intricate design and jewels. I was worried that while she was busy playing (roughly) this would fall out of her hair, and she would loose the pin stick in the back of the flexi clip. I was totally wrong, the pin stick is attached to the clip, so you cannot lose it, perfect!

They are currently having a "Buy 3 Get 1 Free" Special until the end of June!

After your finished drooling over it. You have the chance to actually WIN it!

2 Lucky Winners will win a Lilla Rose Flexi Clip of their choice valued up to $16.

Product Review: Giovanni Direct Leave in Conditioner

Awhile ago, I brought Giovanni Direct Leave In Conditioner through Vitacost. I received two bottles for FREE, with our $10 coupon. Each 8 oz bottle was only $4.71. The shipping time was perfect! If you are interested in receiving your own $10 coupon click here.

Enriched with certified organic botanicals. No animal by-products. Cruelty free. Restores strength, lustre and nourishment to abused hair. Moisturizes and builds body. Detangles for easy comb-out styling. To create condition and style, you need to go direct to the source. Direct Leave-In Conditioner goes directly into each hair to provide both. This Leave-In treatment repairs hair as you go through the day. It also has the added benefit of plumping up each repaired hair so that it feels thicker. More bodified. This conditioner infuses each individual hair with protein. Pumps it up. Goes directly to style.

Ingredients: Aqua (purified water), *aloe barbadensis (aloe vera) leaf juice, *helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, *glycine soja (soybean) seed extract, *betula alba (birch) extract, *malva sylvestris (mallow) extract, *achillea millefolium extract, *chamomilla recutita (matricaria) flower extract, *equisetum arvense extract, *lavandula angustifolia (lavender) extract, *rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf extract, *salvia sciarea (clary) extract, *thymus vulgaris (thyme) extract, *tussilago farfara (coltsfoot) flower extract, *urtica dioca (nettle) extract, citrus grandis (grapefruit) extract, cetyl alcohol, tocopherol (vitamin E), panthenol (pro-vitamin B5), citric acid, phenoxyethanol, natural fragrance.

Review: The bottle shape is so unique, my Husband says it looks fancy lol. The product smells like a nice scented perfume, not over powering. The consistency is white, creamy liquid, but not watery. I washed, conditioned, detangled, and then applied Giovanni Direct Leave In, in sections to N's hair. After washing her hair, I always let her hair air dry in a few braids. I added a little bit of Eli's Body Shop Oil to seal in the moisture. In the morning, I gently remove her braids. While I was removing her braids her hair smelled awesome!

Her braid out was very soft, and bouncy. It left no residue or build up. Like all of our reviews, I used it several times. I have also detangled with this, and used it in our spray bottle mixed with water and oil. Each and every way I tried it, I really liked it! I didn't have to use alot, so this will last us a while. I actually went and purchased 3 more bottles along with Giovanni 50/50 Balanced Conditioner (REVIEW COMING SOON.)  For under $5, this is going to be our new "go to" product.

Product Review: Beija Flor Naturals Creme Brulee

We received the Beija Flor Naturals Creme Brulee For Kinks Curls And Coils, thanks to our friends from Beija Flor!

This product is for the happy and nappy, cute and coily, wild and wavy, kinky, curly...well you get the picture! No matter what your ethnic background, if the hair that sits on top of your head can be described as such you know that highly textured hair in all its glory tends to be dry, brittle and prone to breakage.

Ingredients: Herbal Complex (Nettle, Burdock, Rosemary, Mashmellow Root). Organic Shea Butter, Aloe Butter, Murumuru Butter, Organic Aloe Vera Extract, Grapeseed Oil, Coconut Oil, Vegetable Emulsifier, Stearic Acid, Xanthum, Vitamin E Paraben Free Preservative, Fragrance.

Review: I received the Creme Brulee For Kinks Curls And Coils. It's a very thick creme, and smells like peppermint. After I applied to N's hair, she kept sniffing her hair (weirdo child) hahaha. But it did make her hair smell so lovely. I used the creme as a styling product for our braids.

It's a good holding product, as soon as I applied it on a section for the twists, it clumped her section together. Making it easy to twist her hair, so I didn't have to worry it unraveling. I love it, and I plan on doing many more styles with this. I recommend Creme Brulee on hair that loves very thick products. Even though N's hair is mostly 3C her hair loves thick cremes and heavy products. I will definitely use this again very soon. You can visit their site at http://beijaflornaturals.bigcartel.com/

Review: I received a box with such awesome goodies!

Since N doesn't have a key to the house and lost her toy keys, I totally rock this on my house key. So cute! Who says I'm too old!! hahaha

I love the keychain and button. Her book bag ripped about 3 weeks ago, so I purchased another one at Walmart. I worried that her bookbag would look similar to other kids in school. I placed a key chain lipgloss to the zipper, but a few days later it broke. I decided to place the Sweet Honey Child keychain and button, on her bookbag. One of her classmates noticed and said she wants one! So I had N send one of the Sweet Honey Child card to school to give it to her. I need to make N a little saleswoman at school! hahaha

The barrettes are so cute its made out of metal so it's not easy to break. I placed them on her hair so you can see the size of the barrettes. It came in a cute individually wrapped baggie and you can tell they package their products with love.

Thank you Sweet Honey Child for allowing us to review your products, please stop by their site and support this wonderful company.

Product Review: Pretty Puff Dolls

One of our amazing sponsors for the Protective Style Challenge is Pretty Puff Dolls!

Pretty Puffs were born in 2002 as a result of the challenges that many minorities face when attempting to purchase dolls with ethnic characteristics. Plush in design, what distinguishes Pretty Puffs from similar dolls is its unique style of hair, styled into afro-puff pony tails. In general the market has been reluctant to include dolls of such distinction and characteristics, Pretty Puffs are made to show minority girls, teens, and women that being different, having brown skin and kinky hair is absolutely a thing of beauty.

Review: The Pretty Puff Doll came in a purple little pouch, and she smelled so good. Yes, I smelled the doll...please don't ask...Anywho, I removed her from the pouch and felt her hair. I was so shocked that the doll hair has such a curly thick texture. She is dressed so cute! I placed the doll on her vanity. When N came home from school, she noticed her right away and said she smells good....we are both odd...but seriously, I think they spray her with something.
I asked N to pick a name for her. She decided to name her "Whitney" yes, after Whitney Houston lol. We watched her funeral together, so she now is a fan of Whitney. After Michael Jackson died, she became a fan of him as well. Okay back on topic lol, she loves Whitney and keeps her on her vanity. In the mornings when I'm doing her hair, she plays with Whitney. It helps to keep her head still.

She loves Whitney, can't you tell by the smile!

One (1) Lucky Winner will receive the cute Pretty Puff Doll below!

Product Review: Curls Of The World

We were given the opportunity to try Curls Of The World! I read two wonderful reviews and was eager to try them! Thank you Curls Of The World For allowing us to review your line.

At Curls of the World, we celebrate wavy, curly, coily hair from around the world. We believe that it is important that you nurture every precious strand with 100% natural ingredients. Our team has searched the globe to find ingredients that will help you nourish, retain and grow long, lovely curls. We offer you 100% natural products that are free of silicone, parabens, lauryl sulfate and synthetic preservatives.

Georgia Peach Moisturizing Shampoo

Ingredients: Saponified oils of Avocado, Borage, Castor, Coconut, Evening Primrose, Palm, Sesame, Safflower, Sweet Almond Oil, Aloe Vera Oil, Saponfied butters of Cocoa and Shea.
Vegetable Glycerin, Lavendar Essential Oil, Carrageenan, Xanthan Gum, Potassium Sorbate, Silver Citrate, Natural Fresh Peach Fragance.

Review: This shampoo smells so lovely just like peaches, yummy! I love fruit scented products, so that was a BIG plus! I started with a half dollar amount of shampoo, and rubbed it into her hair. Within seconds the suds vanished. I went and applied more shampoo, and scrubbed her hair. Again, the shampoo vanished, it soaked right into her hair. Well I continued adding shampoo, and quickly tried to wash her hair. I ended up using more than half the bottle. But when I rinsed it out, her hair was nice and clean.

Manzanilla Coconut Moisturizing Conditioner

Ingredients: Aloe Vera Whole Leaf Juice (Organic), Avocado Oil, Citric Acid, DL Panthenol,
Emulsifying wax, Glycerin, Hydrolyzed Oat Protein, Palm Steari Acid, Potassium Sorbate, Safflower Oil, Rosemary Oil, Coconut Oil, Jojoba Oil, Shea Butter, Silk Protein, Silver Citrate, Vitamin E, Water, Wheat Germ Oil and Natural Coconut fragrance oil.

Review: It smells like coconut! I absolutely love coconut scent. I received a small bottle, and well, I used the entire bottle in one wash. N's hair soaked it right in, I took this picture while I let the product sit.

Her hair has the entire bottle of conditioner in it, but you cannot see it, again it soaked right into her hair. There was no way I could detangle with it, so I rinsed it out. And there was barely any product being removed when I washed it out.

Just the Flax Curl Defining Gel

Ingredients: Flaxseed Gel, Aloe Vera Juice, Glycerin, Rosemary Oil, Rose Essential Oil, Grapefruit Seed Extract,
Potassium Sorbate (a natural preservative)

After two products not working in N's hair, I decided to try all of the products on my son. His hair is finer, and has spiral curls, so I thought maybe it would work better. I applied the shampoo, our regular conditioner (since I ran out of the other one.) followed by the The Curls Of The World Gel. I then styled his hair in finger curls, the gel has a nice firm hold. But within 2 hours, his hair became frizzy. He is a busy toddler, and I didn't want to use a ton of product in his hair to make the finger curls stay. So I threw his hair into a ponytail.

The remaining products: Tahitian Bay Detangling Conditioner, Curl Moisturizing Hair Cream, and Curlie Wurlie Kids Hair Cream. Worked just like the others. It soaks right into N's hair, and doesn't work for her curl type, or my sons. I recommend their product line for finer and thinner hair textures, maybe 1a-2b/c. But not for thick 3b/c-4 curls. We may not of had the best experience, but "No two heads are the same." So this may work for others. Also the price is more reasonable than many other natural hair care lines, and Rhee is so sweet.

-We will be giving away to 3 lucky winners (1) One Curls Of The World  product of their choice, each.

You can find Curls Of The World here: http://www.curlsoftheworld.com/index.html

Review: I really enjoy doing reviews that allow N and I to have quality time together. I must admit, I'm shamefully crafty-challenged. I've seen so many women/fellow bloggers creating beautiful handmade items. I couldn't help but to feel sad...sigh... But NOT anymore hahahaha! (-sings-) I can make a bow! I can make a bow! and it's all thanks to the Bowdabra bowmaker!

I opened the box, and the first thought in my mind was, "oh my goodness, you are not crafty! What did you get yourself into!" I even asked our Facebook friends to wish me luck! I popped in the DVD, and I followed right along. Sandy's directions are so simple and easy to follow. It only took me a matter of  2-3 minutes to complete a bow. I stared at it, and was truly shocked! I ran to show N the bow, and she said " oh cool, I want to make one!" and it was on!!! I explained how to use it, and together we created a "Fold and Twist Bow" and then a "Double Fold and Twist Bow." Honey, we were on a roll! We were so into it, that we didn't realize the time, and it was a little past her bed time. The next day after school we continued making bows. Then she wanted to do it all by herself, she made 2 bows. Then I found some of our hair clips, and hot glued them to the back of her bow.

Here are the final results of our bows.

 (Made by me)

(Made by N) Not bad for a 7 year old

(I added a little bead with the letter N.)

The Bowdabra is the perfect DIY tool! Thanks so much Sandy we enjoyed reviewing the bowdabra! You can find the Bowdabra at their website http://bowdabra.com/

Product Review: Eli's Body Shop

Thanks Eli for allowing us to review your products!

We at Eli’s Body Shop are committed to providing organic and natural products to our customers around the world. Give us the opportunity to provide you with our unique services and solutions.

Organic Black Soap Shampoo

Black Soap Shampoo 275ml

Ingredients: Aqua, plantain skin, cocoa pod, coconut oil, palm kernel oil, shea butter, vegetable glycerine, castor oil, and chamomile.

Review: I always heard about all of the wonderful benefits of Black Soap. So I was super excited to wash with this! It has a nice light scent, not over powering (can't put my finger on it lol.) I love how this contains glycerine, this will really come in handy during the warmer months. The Black soap shampoo left her hair feeling very soft.  I really like how it worked up a good lather. A good lather to me, equals clean. This is not true, but in my mind, if I don't have a lather, I keep applying the product until I do lol. Black soap is known to help with eczema. So Moms who have kids with it, you should truly try this.

Organic Shea Oil
Shea Oil - Mango Papaya 150ml

Ingredients: Shea oil, coconut oil, olive oil, grape seed oil, tea tree oil, jojoba oil, and mango papaya oil.

Review: I love love love oils!! and so does N's hair. It smells delicious, and fruity. I used a small amount on top of her moisturizer to seal it in. I recommend this for hair that likes thick oils, and for those who need to retain moisture. The shea oil adds a really nice shine to N's hair. I didn't add moisturizer the next day, her hair was still shiny. That's a A+ in my book.

Organic Black Soap Facial Cleaner

Organic Black Soap Facial Cleanser 150ml

Ingredients: Cocoa pod, plantain skin, coconut oil, aqua, shea butter, virgin vegetable glycerine, aloe vera, cucumber, green tea, and lime.

Review: I used this product for 4 days straight, and my skin felt AMAZING! I had a few pimples which I tend to get during "that" time of the month. (sorry for the tmi) and this stuff made them vanish! I told my Mom (big mistake) and she totally stole my bottle. Sigh. So since she stole it, I made her help with this review. In her words "Ohh Kay (my nickname) I love this stuff, My face is clearing right up. I want you to order your sister's some."...Well folks, it looks like I have to purchase some more for myself, and my siblings. Bottom line, if my Momma says it's a good product, then there is nothing more to say. Mom's are always right!

fyi: Im hiding the next bottle!

Product Review: Twirlyz

Recently we were given the opportunity to review Twirlyz Hair Accessories!

Twirlyz are an amazing new hair accessory! Inspired by the hair stylings of the Caribbean Islands, they are great for showing school and team pride, or just for expressing your love for style! Easy to use, available in every color of the rainbow! With Twirlyz you can wrap your hair in seconds, no matter what your hair type!

Review: I LOVE IT!!! These hair accessories are adorable, and it was a BIG hit at N's school. As soon as she went in, her teacher, and her classmates, complimented her hair. They were amazed and wanted to know how do you get it in her hair lol.N is a pretty aggressive player in recess/gym so she said it later fell out, but she twisted back in her hair all by herself, it's very simple. To apply: Just simply (twirl) the hair around it, voila!

-Sorry for the blurry pic-

It's pretty cool how you can change the little charms on the end of the twirlyz to personalize them.

She wore the rainbow long twirlyz in her hair all week, but on Friday I told her to give it a break. I didn't want her to be distracted in school by having to keep putting it in. This child threw a hissy fit! Tears and all, because she wanted to wear it. After talking with her once she was calm, I found out that she likes the attention it brings lol. I guess it makes her cool smh. She also wants more and in different colors, I believe Twirlyz created an monster lol aka big fan. So I promised her that if she gets honors again for this semester, I will buy her more twirlyz. There's nothing more I can say...it's a hit folks!
When you place a order, be sure to mention that KandyLandKurls sent you. Click here to visit their site.

UPDATE: A reader noticed that I didn't show the complete hairstyle, I apologize for that. Here are the other pictures of this hairstyle.

For this top section, I did random braids. One row started from the left, and the other from the right, and I continued this pattern until I reached the center of her hair. The remaining hair I placed into a little bun.

For the back of her hair I made cornbraids going straight down, then I used Curlformers to create the curls. I applied eco styler gel on top of the braids. Then I put in the curlformers, she slept with them and I removed the rollers in the morning for this curly effect.

On one side of her hair I created a small heart. Which I'm not that great at, but I did this style for valentines day, and wanted to try to make a heart.

I cornbraided the center straight down, and added cornbraids around the heart. Then I added curlformers and gel to make this section curly.
On the opposite side of her hair, I made just straight back cornbraids, no heart. (I forgot to take a pic of that side, sorry.)

Organix Vanilla Silk Conditioner: Product Review

Beauty pure and simple. Soft & silky. Indulge your senses with this exclusive blend of smoothing Tahitian vanilla bean oils to instantly nourish and moisturize, while silk amino proteins strengthen and seal your hair's cuticles, revitalizing your hair, creating silky, smooth shiny hair. Sulfate free. Organic vanilla bean oils.

Ingredients: Dl Water (Aqua), Cetyl Alcohol, Behentrimonium, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Glucoside, Glyceryl Stearate, Glycerin, Cyclomethicone, Dimethicone, Jojoba Oil, Panthenol, Silk Amino Complex, Organic Vanilla Bean Oil, Shea Butter, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Tetrasodium EDTA, Fragrance, DMDM Hydantoin, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone.

Review: I will start with the pros. It smells amazing! If I could eat it, I would. The price is Wonderful!! (easy on the pockets) and it makes a wonderful refresher in my spray bottle. Now the cons (dun-dun-dun.) I really dislike how they name their products "organix" when it's not "organic" and some of their ingredients, from their multiple products, contain not so good stuff for curlies. Even this has some "caution" ingredients, so please read the back of the bottles. I must also add that, I wouldn't detangle with it. I like to detangle with conditioner, but this soaks right into N's hair, and is not slippery enough to comb though. Overall it's decent, ONLY because of how I am using it. For simple a refresher, or quick rinse out conditioner, this is a good product to use. Nothing more, nothing less.

fyi: I prefer their coconut milk conditioner over this one.

If you are interested in trying products from the Organix brand. CVS is currently having a B.O.G.O (buy1get1) sale on this product line.

Have you tried a product from Organix? What are your thoughts on it?

This is my daughter N's debut at being a Youtube Vlogger. She is a pretty shy kid (until you get to know her.) So she has really stepped out of her shell. She really likes Cara B and wanted to do her own review. Click below to see N in action!

Now here is Mommies review lol

Shampoo:

Ingredients: Deionized water; natural coconut oil, cornstarch and sugar soap blend (decyl glucoside); natural chamomile fragrance blend; vegetable glycerin; sugar (glucose); vitamin E; aloe vera barbadensis leaf juice; citric acid; guar gum (natural thickener); car amel; glucose oxidase & lactoperoxidase (natural preservative)

Review: I love the scent it's like a vanilla-sweet scent, which is a big plus! It's very light, and tear-free which is another plus! And we used 2 quarter sized amounts, not too bad, third plus lol! I give this shampoo 3 out of 3 stars lol, perfect, gentle and not stripping, that's exactly what I was looking for.

Body Lotion:

Ingredients: Deionized water; coconut oil (capric triglyceride); shea butter; sunflower seed oil; cocoa butter (stearic acid); jojoba oil; natural emulsifying wax (cetearyl alcohol); natural emulsifier (glyceryl stearate); sugar (glucose); natural chamomile fragrance blend; xanthan gum (natural thickener); aloe vera barbadensis leaf juice; vitamin E; caramel; potassium sorbate; glucose oxidase & lactoperoxidase (natural preservative)

Review: Like N said in the video, she uses it daily and I would recommend this for those who may have sensitive skin. The lotion is very light and gentle, and with this cold drying weather, N's skin has a nice shimmer. N likes to lick her lips, which causes a thin dry ring around her mouth. I rubbed this on her face for 2 days, and it was gone!

Hair Mist:

Ingredients: Deionized water; vegetable glycerin; coconut oil (capric triglyceride); sweet almond oil; jojoba oil; sugar (glucose); natural chamomile fragrance blend; aloe vera barbadensis leaf juice; vitamin E; potassium sorbate; glucose oxidase & lactoperoxidase (natural preservative); citric acid

Review: This is the perfect spray for styles like braids, twists, or something that you want to keep moisturized, without messing up the style. It leaves a nice shine, that soaks into your hair. And hours later it does not feel sticky. It's very light, so I will just use it only as a refresher.

Leave-In Conditioner:

Ingredients: Deionized water; natural emulsifying wax (cetearyl alcohol); shea butter; jojoba oil; coconut oil (capric triglyceride); vegetable glycerin; natural emulsifier (cetearyl alcohol and cetearyl glucoside); natural chamomile fragrance blend; cocoa butter (stearic acid); sugar (glucose); xanthan gum (natural thickener); natural emulsifier (glyceryl stearate); aloe barbadensis leaf juice; vitamin E; caramel; potassium sorbate; glucose oxidase & lactoperoxidase (natural preservative)

Review: I used this as a daily moisturizer, I would go through this bottle too quickly, if I used it as a conditioner. So I have been moisturizing N's twists (style coming soon) daily, and it's absolutely wonderful. Silly N got the lotion, and this bottle, mixed up, and put the leave-in conditioner all over her body :/ Now my first thought was "uh-oh, she is going to break out or become itchy" ......But nope, her skin smelled and felt good, and she had zero complaints. Again, it's very light, so if you don't like thick or oily creams, then this is right up your alley.

Overall: I really like their products, it has such a nice light scent perfect for little babies, and it's a much safer and healthier product than Johnson & Johnson. I wish I knew about their product line when my kids were smaller.  I highly recommend this to all of the small babies/kids out there. The best part, is that it will be sold in Target & CVS (in February)!! Yes, convenient for all! You can also order their products here https://www.mycarab.com.
