Here's a quick update on our style. I took the bun out and added 4 colorful rubberbands to the twists, which formed a mohawk.
We had a fun day at the park, and she received a compliment on her hairstyle from a few strangers. "N" has told me that this is her favorite style! So I may do this for the first day of school which is right around the corner. I can't believe summer vacation is half way over for us : (
How is everyone enjoying their summer so far?
I can definitely see why all the compliments came pouring in, I love this style!
ReplyDeleteCute style. For some reason everytime I do twists they never look like that? And I can never get them to stay in my daughters hair. Any tips or is it her hair type?
ReplyDeleteLove it! Super cute style!

Her hair is so beautiful...cant want to see it when she goes to school ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone!
ReplyDelete@ Allthingscuteandgirly- It could be your daughter's hair type and length. When N was younger her hair would unravel and I could never have her hair stay like this. But as she grew, so did her hair, and it became thicker. Then when she was around 3, I was able to do twists that last.
This reminds me so much of Des' flat twist faux hawk that had the beads along the hair line. Des loved it too and it gave me one of the best twist outs to date. Beautiful job. N is so pretty. We are all blessed with such beautiful children.
