Organix Moroccan Argan Oil Product Review

I went to Walmart to buy some more Organix Coconut Milk Conditioner, when I noticed that Organix has a new product called Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo. I have heard a few great things about pure moroccan oil and how it's rare and helps your hair to grow. For only $6.00 dollars I decided to give it a try.

This rare formula has a centuries-old history of providing natural vitamin E and antioxidants while renewing your hair's cell structure, sealing in shine, and creating lush softness. A precious blend of Moroccan argan oil which instantly penetrates the hair shaft restoring shine and softness while strengthening. Derived from the southwest region of Morocco, argan oil protects from styling heat and UV damage while creating soft, seductive, silky perfection.

Ingredients: Deionized Water, Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate, Sodium C 14 16 Olefin Sulfonate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine, Dimethicone Copolyol, Cocamide DEA, Glycol Distearate, Argania Spinosa (Argan) Kernel Oil (Argan), Cacao (Theobroma Cacao) Extract (Cocoa Butter), Parfum, Cocos Nucifera Oil (Coconut), Persea Gratissima Oil (Avocado), Aloe Vera (Aloe Barbadensis) Extract (Aloe Leaf), Panthenol, Polyquaternium 11, DMDM Hydantoin, Cetyl Alcohol, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium

When I purchased this bottle, I didn't bother reading the back. I automatically assumed it is paraben-free and sulfate-free, like the other Organix Coconut Milk Conditioner. I was WRONG! It contains sulfates (bummer.) It has a nice pleasant smell (I can't put my finger on the scent) but it was decent. When I washed it out, N's hair felt moisturized still. Not completely stripped of all of her oils and brittle. That's the feeling I normally feel with sulfate shampoo (until I put in conditioner) but I didn't have that same feeling. While I was styling her hair, I instantly noticed how soft it was. This is a good shampoo to clarify N's hair, and I will use it when she has build up (possibly once a month). But Bee Mine Botanical Shampoo, Shea Moisture, and C Curls are the healthiest shampoos I have tried so far. I have learned my lesson, I will ALWAYS look at the ingredients before purchasing.

FYI: This shampoo does contain "cones" for those that don't like to use silicone's.
